1820 January 4th. Marriage of 'Mr. Alexander Christie, Calder Iron Works, to Isabella, daughter of Mr. John Robertson, Lennoxtown, Campsie.[1] At Old Monkland, Lanarkshire.

1841 Living at Church Street, Rotherham: Alexander Christie (age c50 and born in Scotland), Engineer.[2]

1851 Living at East Side House, Clackmannan: Alexander Christie (age 61 born Campbletown, Argyll), Iron Master. With his wife Isabella Christie (age 59 born Campsie, Stirling).[3]
