1946 Albion Light Metal Products Limited was incorporated, with capital of £3,000, to carry on business as engineers, iron, steel, and other metal or alloy founders.[1]

1947 'The refrigerators, made by Albion Light Metal Products, are bound for Belfast and Dublin. It is the first big consignment sent out in this way. Presently located at Park Lane Works, Dundee, the firm have expanded rapidly since they started operations 18 months ago with five employees. They now have over 200 employees, and are moving by degrees to a 40,000 square feet factory in Dundee's Industrial Estate. They started making kitchen cabinets, and, only six months ago, turned also to refrigerators. Now they turn out 200 refrigerators week and 130 cabinets, about two-thirds of which go to England and the rest remain for Scottish homes....The refrigerators are manufactured under the name of associated company, Astral Equipment Ltd.'[3]

1956 The company went into voluntary liquidation in March.[4]
