1878 Born in Southwark, the son of John Willington Grose, merchant.

1904 Arrived at Plymouth from Calcutte

1907 An engineer, when he married Ethel Mary Phillips in Upper Tooting

1908 Mr and Mrs Grose sailed to Canada from Liverpool

1911 Living in Tooting with his wife; listed as an aeronautical engineer.[1]

1912 Mr and Mrs Grose arrived at Plymouth having been in Assam

1915 Living in Woodford Green

1920 Sailed from Avonmouth to Colombia, an engineer, and returned later that year.

1939 Alfred M Grose, member of I A E, retired, lived in Weston uper Mare with Ethel M Grose[2]

1959 Died in Brighton[3]
