1937 Alfred Gale and Company Limited was incorporated as a private company, with capital of £10,000, to carry on the business of manufacturers, importers, exporters, and dealers of and in tobaccos, cigarettes, etc.[1]

1975 The company name was changed to Conference (Securities) Limited.[2]

1980 The company was dissolved.[3]
