The Eighty-Fifth Annual Show of the Royal Agricultural Society of England held at Reading on July 10th 1926.[1]. Previously held in Reading in 1882. There were 446 stands while the length of shedding for machinery amounted to 4090ft, there was also a slight increase in the entries of live stock, poultry and produce - although there were many absentees in the animal classes owing to the prevalence of foot-and-mouth disease in certain districts.
